As you may know by experience, bilingual books for visually impaired readers are not easy to find. Pupils and students with low vision are somewhat disadvantaged, to say the less.
We do not claim to be able to solve such a huge problem but we do think that publishing large print bilingual books may help to make our world a more friendly and comfortable place.
People who suffer from low vision most often suffer from a lower education
as well because of the lack of basic learning equipment: accessible textbooks.
We know that visual impairment reaches other people than pupils and students,
but from our point of view, whatever your age and your social group, if
you are looking for bilingual books, you are a student.
Our books are available in two formats: printed (font: Verdana, size:16)
or downloadable.
Each version has its pros and cons.
We are proud to present our new collection: bilingual audiobooks. How
do they work? Quite simply. A sentence is recorded in both languages,
the one you know, the one you learn. You listen alternatively to one and
to the other. The first sentences allow you to recognize which voice goes
with which language. Usually, to listen to the title and the author's
name are enough for you to fix these details.
Then, you listen. You pause or replay according to your needs. Read the
list of the bilingual audiobooks currently available below and click to
listen to an excerpt: it is the best to do to test by yourself.
Our audiobooks on DVD, as our paper books, are sold through the well-known
company: Lulu.com. Downloadable products are sold either through Lulu
or through Click-to-sell.
